Please read the following note carefully:
US LEVER ceased production of "Lifebuoy Soap" products in May 2000. There is now NO Lifebuoy soap available in the USA and Canada except mine. My "Red Lifebuoy Soap" is exactly what was available in the US before the `classic scent` version was introduced.
As you can see by the soap box on this web site, my Original Red Lifebuoy
Soap is NOT the `classic scent` version. This has been discontinued. My
"Red Lifebuoy Soap" has the Original clean, fresh, healthy aroma. To my
customers in the UK, (when I showed them a sample of the `classic scent`
and asked their opinion) and my customers in the USA and Canada the `classic
scent` version was just not "Lifebuoy",
It was far too `perfumy` for them. Should you wish, I will dispatch a
25g convenience size bar to you as a sample.
All prices on this web site include all packing and postal charges by air mail to your door. For full cases only the total cost would be about $30.00 cheaper by sea.

The Original Red “Lifebuoy” Soap (sometimes called “Carbolic Soap”)is one of the most famous soaps in the world. It has been on the market for over 100 years. “Red Lifebuoy Soap” is still manufactured in many countries by Unilever and it’s subsidiaries. In most of these countries “Lifebuoy” soap is the market leader.
Our “Original Red Lifebuoy Soap” is a very clean, healthy, “carbolic” soap. It is a pure anti-bacterial soap with excellent skin cleaning and cleansing properties and is suitable for the whole body. These days, this is essential with MRSA and all the superbugs, e-coli, salmonella, and other viruses around. You cannot have too much protection.
“Lifebuoy Soap” also used to be available in the White Toilet and the Red Lifebuoy Household Soap Twin Pack versions. These have now been discontinued. Now there is only the “Red Lifebuoy Soap” available, (used to be known as the ‘Toilet Soap’ version.)
The original Red “Lifebuoy Soap” available from us is manufactured by Unilever PMT to the highest standards and quality. It meets the latest rigorous standards set by the EU in both formulation and packaging. We are sole supplies to the UK, Europe, North America and other countries where the customer expects the carbolic red ‘Lifebuoy” Soap with the aroma and quality of the original red “Lifebuoy” Our “Lifebuoy” Soap. is the only “Red Lifebuoy Carbolic Soap” manufactured now with the carbolic, healthy aroma. All other Lifebuoy Soaps in the world have been reformulated with more ‘modern’ ingredients, to smell ‘sweeter’ and repackaged. My customers expect the carbolic original and this is what we are supplying.
As reported above, not all “Red Lifebuoy Soap” soap produced around the world is the same, however all my customers agree that the Red “Lifebuoy Soap” available from Jupiter Imports (UK) is without doubt the original “Red Lifebuoy Carbolic Soap” We just don’t want this unique soap to disappear from the market. About the Pears Pure Care Cleansing Bar
The “Pears Pure Care Cleansing Bar” is a soap in the now “discontinued” luxury bracket. It is a mild gentle soap which has many dedicated followers who are now frustrated because it is no longer manufactured. So much so that I have had one customer fly in from New York to here in London just to buy 4 factory cases ( 24 x 150g bars in each) in case I sold out.
The “Pears Pure Care Cleansing Bar” was not one of my usual soaps, however about 3 years ago many of my customers were asking me for it, as they had problems finding it in their usual shops. For more information and to order, please visit our Pears Products section.
"Sunlight Soap"
(Mild because it’s Pure)
“Sunlight Soap” was the first soap bar to be produced with the name “Sunlight” imprinted on the soap bar and on the wrapper.
It was the first soap to be produced by Lever Brothers (later to become Unilever) at their new factory across the river from Liverpool in 1884. Lifebuoy Soap commenced production there 10 years later in 1894. This factory, which became the largest soap factory in the world, was soon named “Port Sunlight” and includes the village built there for their workers by Lever Brothers, one of the first employers to introduce this kind of care to their employees.
We are proud to be suppliers of our soaps, Red Lifebuoy Soap, Pears VINOLIA-TITANIC Luxury Bath Soap and Pears Pure Transparent Soap to the shop in the village called “Sunlight Vision”
Sunlight Soap soon spread across the world to other Lever Brothers factories and has been in continuous production by Lever Brothers / Unilever in many countries in the world ever since.
